Boys Tennis continues to impress

Newington 6, Plainville 1: Ron Abraham won in first singles, Connor Buckley won in second singles and Adam Porell won in third singles to lead Newington to a home victory Thursday afternoon. The Indians improved to 5-2 with the win.

Newington also swept the doubles matches, with Darin Mathew and Shelbin Cheriyan (first doubles), Ben Arora and Josh Ellis (second) and Peter Wroblewski and Nick Rojek (third) getting victories.

Plainville’s Joey Chacho won in fourth singles. The Blue Devils are now 2-5.
